Providers are the firms charged with the responsibility of financing the green deal scheme. The providers will be governed by the Green Deal Code which has a set of standards that they should meet in order to qualify as providers. Green Deal initiatives are numerous like Solar PV. In most cases they are represented but definitely not limited to something like UPVC Windows, Solar PVs, UPVC doors.

The providers will recoup their investments by charging interest on the amount financed. The improver, this is the person improving their property, will pay an interest expected to be in the range of six to eight percent. The providers could be commercial firms, social landlords, or charities. As an improver, a provider is supposed to explain to you how the green deal finance works in terms of qualification and interest.
